I learned quickly that marathon running is not an individual act of endurance, but rather a collaborative effort of family, friends, spectators, and volunteers that make your journey memorable.  As I train for the Chicago marathon in October, I have chosen to become a part of Team Casa and support their effort to act as an angel in the lives of impoverished children.  I feel privileged to be a part of such a strong organization that has such a positive impact on social welfare.  My 26-mile journey through Chicago will be dedicated to the children of Casa De Los Angeles and I hope it will inspire in all of us a need to work for the livelihood of others.

I hope to have your partnership in this endeavor and thank you in advance for your support of Casa De Los Angeles.  Your gift will go a long way in not only helping my own personal goal, but also shaping the lives of children for generations to come.
