My name
is Ricardo Ochoa and at the age of 23 I am about to
endure my first marathon. Excited would be only one of
the many feelings to describe what I am undergoing as
this journey nearly approaches. I grew up in this
stunning, multicultural city of Chicago and am proud to
be running for Casa de Los Angeles. I have read many
athlete/runner biographies and mostly all talk about the
love of the sport. So yes, as you can only imagine ‘I
love running;’ it is a love/hate relationship. It not
only relieves stress but brings a lot of stress upon
one’s body.
I chose
to run for Casa de Los Angeles because the webpage
inspired me. I encourage you to check out the site so
that maybe you to will be inspired. Yes, inspired enough
to run or maybe enough to help me reach my goal of
$2000. If each sponsor provided a dollar for every mile
I run, my goal will be easily accomplished.
On
October 12th, my training will be put to the
test as I will run 26.2 miles.
Thank you in
advance for supporting and advocating for the children
of San Miguel de Allende. May you get blessed twofold
for your support!!
